- That is what my sister used to call blackberry.
Anyways, mine is once again working - all services included. For how long, who knows. I just thought I got myself a sim card, not the bb services. But I am not complaining, don't get me wrong!
Sophia had yet another bad night, which is why I have been absent here today. I decided to prioritize resting.
I would like to congratulate some of my friends.

Julie - for getting accepted to the London College of Fashion.
I am so proud of you guys, and I have to admit, a bit jealous. I wouldn't mind doing a masters!

Seasonal change
What I thought was just us being lucky with a few days of rain, seems to actually be rain season that finally is here. Although, the heat today was worse than in a long time, when it rains it cools down for a bit at least.
33c in the shadow today at 5 is not nice.
Anywho, we spent the afternoon with Memo's mom and cousin. Printed something, and went to Atlas for Sophia to use the swings.
Usually our Atlas day is on Wednesdays, but tomorrow Memo's parents are flying over the pond - to Spain, for his brothers wedding.
Sadly we cannot be there.

Rain
Last night it rained a lot - which made me hope it would be a bit cooler today, it isn't!
Little miss sunshine is sleeping, and I am resting.
For some reason she woke up at 2 and had problems falling asleep. I think I went into her room 10 times in one hour to just put my hand on her back.
Oh well, the beauty of motherhood.
She can sit pretty well now the little rug-rat. She's amazing.
Now I will rest my eyes for a bit - although she should wake up any minute now

Forgetful
Living in a constantly sunny county without sunglasses sucks - therefore, I decided to forget mine in the mall on Saturday. Bummer!

Finally..
Last night it rained (for the first time in a few months), this means that it today is a bit cooler than it previously has been - thus the FINALLY. I took a walk - at noon - and didn't die!
I see summer has finally arrived in Sweden, and I have to admit I am a bit jealous. Because, although I live in a constant summer, nothing beats the Swedish summer after having endured all those cold and dark months.
Sophia slept a lot better yesterday, so I had the time to update her "first year book" we bought in Panama.
Today is Friday, which could have been fun. But Memo is about to finish his semester (exams, papers) so he needs to go to school - SUCKS.
Oh well, soon it's over, and we will have him all to ourselves every afternoon!

The Heat
The heat is not Sophia's best friend.
Poor little baby.
We had a rough night - no clue why. She went to bed a t 19.30 only to wake up at 20, fall asleep at 22, wake up at 3.30 - fall asleep at 5.30 pfewwww...
I am tired, I can tell you that.
The morning has been spent on skype - Riitta, Anna-Karin & Mamma and Bettina...
Now the little monster woke up

Visa
Finally!
Memo's mom, Sophia and I just got back from picking up her American visa, i.e. she can officially travel back to Sweden (the tickets we got are throught NYC)!
YAY....
We haven't done much other than that, playing, reading, singing - the usual.
Bettina, Bettina and Maria gave Sophia a Barbapapa book (in French) when we were in Panama. This inspired me to look for barbapapa videos on Youtube.
I read Barbapapa to her every night (in French) so I figured it could be fun for her to watch - in the future.
Amazing, no?
Today we're heading over to Atlas to use the swings, pictures will be up later!

Nap
Sophia is napping, as she usually is when I take time to write here.
We're having a poop issue - and in difference to the past it is because she hasn't pooped today.
Hopefully she does after her sleep, otherwise I am in for a loud afternoon.
Because of this 'situation', I haven't done much today.
Little miss sunshine had the decency to fall back asleep when she woke up at 7.30 - and we slept until 10! Yay
I have charged the batteries in the camera, so keep a look out for updates later today (tomorrow morning europe time).

5 years
The other week Memo and I were talking about life, and it made me realize it's been 5 years since I left Paris.
The time has come when I have lived more years away than in Paris.
When I was in the middle of that move back to Sweden, I never thought this day would come.
In order to move on I have lived in many places; London, Västerås, Jönköping, Ankara and have now "settled" in Guadalajara. This is how it goes actually:
Västerås - Paris - Västerås - London - Jönköping - Ankara - Guadalajara - Jönköping - Guadalajara
I have changed country 8 times - sometimes I have gone back to the same. But I can tell you, moving sucks, it's necessary, but sucks.
Anywho, here´s my past in pictures:

A break
Sophia is down for her third and last nap of the day.
Routines are starting to be formed - for naps at least.
We have also started with oatmeal at night - only a teaspoon at the moment. She seems to enjoy it.
We went to the paediatrician Saturday. Little miss sunshines is not that little anymore- 7kg and 64cm
She starting to get heavy.
Luckily I had the bright idea to wear her off us having to walk her to sleep (which she used to need for naps).
We went to the pool on saturday which was awesome, Sophia enjoyed the swings.
Yesterday we celebrated memos mother, it was very nice.

Thank you for being Friday today!
No big plans going on here, making steak sandwich for lunch. Hopefully heading to Atlas afterwards so that little miss sunshine can use the baby swing - she loves it!
Life in Mexico is getting quite warm - 35c in the shadow the other day.
Needless to say, Sophia and I try to stay inside.
Hopefully we will be heading to Vallarta more often when Memo is done with his semester.

Sophia
I have to brag for a bit.
Sophia is amazing. She's almost always happy - and if she isn't it's easy to fix.
I love her so much.
Our trip to Europe is coming closer and closer. It's exciting, but also a bit scary.
Fly all those hours by myself, be far away from Memo for that long time.
But it is for the best of everyone.
I promise to be more present here next week.

Life hasn't been easy lately, but I keep on fighting. Not only for me but for Sophia's sake.
That is also why I have been more absent here on the blog.
Hopefully this will change thou.
Plans have changed for the fall. Sophia and I will probably stay in Europe until christmas.
While over there it seems logical to enjoy.
Memo will probably join us at christmas - then back to Mexico together.
Sad new today. Gustav is sick - we probably have to euthanize him ):

We didnt really do anything. On Friday I spent the night alone, as I did in Saturday too.

As you might tell I am a bit pissed - not about being alone, although it sucked, I am pissed about other things.
