In between days

That's what these days are called in Swedish, "the in between days", not a bad name.

Got back from the mountain yesterday... we had a wonderful time. A lot of snow, a lot of good food, good company and baby Vincent; the main attraction of the week.

I went snowboarding twice, it was nice... although I didn't have my board, which made my life a tad more difficult.

Now, as I said, I am back in Västerås, and today we're going on an adventure to Märsta, Stockholm to visit Riitta my aunt.
The main event being Maria flying in from Paris.

Now you are probably wondering, why is Maria who lives in London, flying in from Paris. Well, Maria was supposed to arrive with my dad and Bettina last week, we were all spending Christmas the big family way.
But because of Heathrow's lack of knowledge and equipment in snow and it's removal, she was not able to join us up in Sweden. So she hopped on a bus to Paris, where Bettinita lives and spent Christmas there. Now she's coming up here because they are all going to Turkey, Ankara for new years....

now my arms hurt...

a plus!

Last weekend

So my last weekend in Mexico is over in an hour... Sad!
But it was an amazing one, so I will not complain!

We just got back to Guadalajara after a 5h drive, and both of us were really tired, so as soon as I am done with this post I will head to bed.

Tomorrow packing will start, and later in the day I have an appointment. Probably we will head up and tan for a bit on the roof before starting with the daily chores (?).

Here are some pictures from the weekend...

Jingle all the way...

The tree, the Adventsljusstake and Kylling
 looking up on the tree
which is what I will do all the way until Christmas!

For the past 16 days I've;
Watched an episode of Modern Family, had a romantic picnique on the roof with Memo, talked with my mom, talked with my sister and baby Vincent, talked with my dad, made multiple Christmas playlists on Youtube, realized that it's easier to download the music, so I did, watched the latest Cougar Town, tanned on the roof, watched the latest Modern Family, organized my hard drive, organized my desktop, cleaned the house, bought a Christmas tree, decorated the house while listening to one of the many Christmas playlists, tanned a bit more on the roof, been to talk to different people, been to Bach flower therapy, stole two Hershey bow's at Soriana for the Christmas tree, cleaned out the fridge, bought a book, started reading the book, had another romantic night on the roof with Memo, talked some more with Anna-Karin, called Helena, celebrated my birthday, changed my ticket back to Sweden for the 16th, been informed about the plans for Christmas; the mountains in Sweden with dad's part of the family, watched "The social network", been to the doctor with Daniel, listened to Christmas music, bought a plastic chicken with candy up his ass, said bye to Patrick, been to the immigrations office, slept, rested and enjoyed life!

Tomorrow it's Vallarta bound, last time before I leave... sad!
Very much looking forward to seeing the family and baby Vincent!

Decision making

There are a lot of decisions that need to made...
Me, Memo, Linnea and Talloz at some party a few months ago.
Stole from Linnea's blog!
Nothing that should be brought up here, but it's on my mind and I am trying to deal with it all.

This week started out slowly with talking to family back in Europe/Asia, and tanning (the two fun things).

Now I am soon off for my talk and then I am not sure. Maybe a movie or just hanging around the house.
There was talk about watching Sunes Jul, which was the Julkalender in Sweden in 1991.
A Julkalender is a 15 min show for kids every morning in December, as a countdown for Christmas. It brings back memories, especially that one!

Other than that, Daniel and I have created a playlist on youtube with christmas songs...Not too popular at the house but hey, we also need the christmas spirit right? And it's not like there's any snow that can help us along the way!

At some point tonight I should do my nails, but I've been saying that for a week, so we'll see how that goes.
Maybe I will stay up and watch the funny videos we found on Youtube instead... which reminds me, scroll down and watch "Bamse og Kylling"... it's hilarious!

An explanation!

After having spent an hour or so on youtube Daniel and I found this video, which explains why Danish people are the way they are!

A few question:

1. Are they drunk?
2. Are they high?
3. Maybe both?
4. Why are they molesting the grey/brown chicken?
5. Is it ok to fart in public in Denmark?
6. Does all Danish people make sex noises while skiing?
7. If so, why?
8. Why does Bamse (the bear) look like a cow?
9. When on the beach, is that a drunk pig in the background?
10. Why is Chicken getting drunk, then throwing food on himself? Is this common in Denmark?
11. What animal is the one with the trunk?

Watch it!
No one understands what the chicken and bear says, but that's not the important part!!!!!

Watch and enjoy!!!!

Time flies

when you have fun... right?

This weekend has passed pretty fast! Although, it's not over yet!
Today I went with Memo and his parents to Chapala to check out the new house they are buying there!
Really nice view, too bad it doesn't have a pool.
After the house shopping we went on to have lunch, seafood... my favourite as you might know.
Naaa, as you should know by now I do not eat seafood... for the simple reason that people have a tendency to pee when they are swimming, I do not care too much for pee, especially not in my food!!!

So, I ate the only non-seafood on the menu... not bad... a piece of meat!

Back in Gdl we went downtown to look for some design book, Memo is a designer and wanted a book explaining rendering with 3D Max... not a clue what it means!
Anywho, I found a book of Dostoevsky, my favourite author after Allende...
I think it might be this one, it was in Spanish so I am not sure.
Maybe I will go back tomorrow and buy it!

In the night we went to a birthday party and then home bound to watch a few episodes of Entourage.

Just got off skype with my Mamma and now it's time to sleep!!!

Have a great Sunday!

On it goes...

The friday started out great... as I wrote earlier I went up on the roof to try on my new bikini and to work a bit on my tan!

Coming back down I had a quick shower, then on to talk with my mom and then to Anna-Karin, Fredrik and Vincent!
It was really nice... afterwards Daniel and I went out for a romantic lunch... I call it romantic since he pays; my credit card broke... other than that there was no romance!
Going back I made a stop at the alcohol store, got two bottles of wine, Memo n I will go up on the roof to watch the sunset today! Always nice, some bottles of white wine (in the freezer now) and a nice view can never go wrong!

Right now I am just resting in my room, listening to music. Finally got to listening to all that music Mr. Jack gave me almost 2 years ago now... it's really good!!! Thank you Jack!

PUSS and enjoy the weekend!

Weekend time!

Friday, time for the weekend again!
My new bikini

I will start my weekend out by going up on the roof to tan for a bit, get some colour to my pale skin...
While up there I will fix that second pair of pants, drink cold coke, read Cosmo and try to relax.

Tonight I will be going out for a bit... maybe a restaurant and then there's a party at Keyvan's house.

Maybe I should wake Daniel up... I don't want to be alone on the roof!

Pantless

It's almost 2 a.m here, meaning almost 9 a.m in Sweden.
And what am I doing this beautiful Thursday night, except trying to kill that stupid-ass mosquito, fixing pants... I have two pair of jeans to fix (not mine) and a bunch of shows to watch!
Quite a night huh!?

Anywho, the shopping spree went good today!
A dress, a skirt, a bikini and a pair of tights were bought...
The dress is awesome, and was really cheap!
I bought the tights because I thought I needed some sweat pants, but what is better than sweat pants!?
Nothing, and tights is the closest thing to nothing!!!

After shopping I went to talk to a person, then spent some time at Memo's while he watched his dolphin team lose again - shocker!

Anywho, after that, home bound, showing off the new stuff I bought, then on to what I mentioned earlier - fixing pants!

1st pair done, 2nd one about to start with!

Shopping!

Linnea and I will go out and make Terranova unsafe!
Linnea saw a cardigan, last time we saw a cardigan it was at Palacio De Hierro, Donna Karen, Linnea came up with the lamest excuses (LIES) to buy it... let's see how it goes today!

Now we're watching some shows on The American Network... pretty bad/good... american shows quoi!

Enjoy the rest of your days!

Family time...

My Mom and Findus
I just spent the first half of my day on skype with my amazing family!

My dad and Bettina are currently in Sweden visiting my sister and her cute family... so we decided to have a skype talk, all together... Baby Vincent even joined!
It was nice, we talked about Christmas, and other things, it was nice.
After my dad n Bettina left to the hotel to unpack my sister called back and we talked for a bit more.

My Mom and Kahn
Apperantly Baby Vincent scared the shit out of everyone yesterday; he stopped breathing and became all lifeless... usch, he came back to his senses but I think everyone is a bit scared it will happen again!

After talking with Anna-Karin, Fredrik and Vincent I went on to talk with meine Mutter... it was nice, we spoke for almost an hour!
We looked at baby pictures and cats!!!
I miss them all a lot and can't wait to see them to be honest!!!

Puss to all of you!
Min Mamma!

The big question...

The question always asked when someone is leaving a country/city behind is; Are you happy about leaving?

The reason I think of this right now is because Linnea and Patrick are leaving in 2ish weeks and Memo today asked Linnea whether she's happy about it or not...
It's a tricky question.

On one hand it's always sad to leave whichever place one was living in, and all that it entails; people, habits, house, etc. But on the other hand it is always exciting seeing the people waiting for you at the new/old destination.
It's always better to arrive to a place without expectations; no expectations no disappointment.
Same goes for when you leave a place; no expectations about who you will keep in touch with or who will keep in touch with you.
I've learnt that the people you least expect to keep in touch often do, whereas the ones you expect to send msgs don't... without expectations there are no hard feelings!
Same goes with expectations about the place you will return to, things always change, people change... the best is to go without any thoughts about what will happened... maybe a bit boring or cold, but like that you don't get hurt.

Anywho, bed time for me... it's midnight meaning, time to turn the heater on and tuck myself to bed!

One month and 2 days...

That's all I have left here in Mexico, if I won't be going to Cancun, which still needs to be decided.

Me and Eduardo, the old flatmate!
There are many things I would want to do before leaving, like going back to the beach, see one of those pyramids, go to see some cute Mexican city and maybe even get my butt to Tlaquepaque (?)...

Today it's Tuesday, but a Monday, since it's the first "real day" of this week, feels weird... I always get confused when there are fewer "real days" in a week than 5... my brain is lost!

Daniel is off to watch Lucha Libre tonight, seems very aggressive... not my cup of tea!
I feel like going to the movies this week... does anyone have a movie to recommend; that isn't Harry Potter or an action movie!?

Now, finishing watching Gossip Girl, had been loading for 3h until Daniel and I noticed that Patrick was downloading things = internet completely stops working...
So we paused the downloads (SORRY)....
