I am disappointed.
But lets start from the beginning.
When a mother starts looking for the first foods of her baby she is nervous. Thus, she does her research.
Here is my research (in English):

http://www.littledish.co.uk/nutrition/salt-sugar-know-the-facts.html
http://chestofbooks.com/health/children/J-H-Tilden/Children-Their-Health-and-Happiness/Baby-Diet-No-Salt-or-Sugar-Has-Been-Recommended.html
Summary: No added sugar
She then goes to the store and sees oatmeal for infants - 1st step, from one of the biggest food companies in the world (for babies) she will assume that they also have done their research on what infants should or should not eat.
She buys the oatmeal and the baby LOVES it - this much:
Memo tasted Sophia's oatmeal and said - this contains sugar.
I said - No, no, that cannot be possible. Must be some type of vanilla.
So next time we went to the store we checked - Sugar was the second ingredient on the list!!!!!!!
Meaning, there's quite a lot in there.
Looking it up on Gerbers website they say that there is no added sugar.
I didn't know there was natural sugar in Oats!?!?!
In the ones I buy there's none...
So I started making my own oatmeal - non-sweetened.
This made Sophia react like this
Not very popular as you can tell.
Memo wondered why she was so upset - did something hurt.
No! But imagine if I gave you a Popsicle every night, and then start giving you only ice. Would you be happy?
So, if you want to give your baby oatmeal - make it yourself.
Take oats - put them in the mixer until it's like flour - add water - cook on stove - done
I make my own apple sauce so that it becomes a bit more tasty.
Apple sauce:
boil pieces of apple with water - add cinnamon if wanted - when ticker put in mixer - done
Sophia now LOVES her oat meal again!!!
Do Not Buy Gerber
Making your own baby food is SO easy
It is not ethically correct for them to add an ingredient in their infant food that is not recommended for infants.
