Nowadays in Sweden they recommend you to start putting your baby on the potty/toilet at around 10 months in order for them to get used to it.
The head psychologist said that they have taken these measures since, in general, children nowadays start potty training too late and become dry much later than necessary.
Anywho, I also put Sophia on the potty early - not to take the diaper off at 9 months, but to make sure they are used to it and comfortable using it.
Let's see how it goes with a boy.
