Lake

We spent Friday afternoon and all Saturday by the lake
It was nice. Sophia used her pool and I got a bit of a tan.

Yesterday we went to the movies -  Batman. I loved it. Really good

I am not in the best mood today - realized things haven been going on behind my back again - Yay!
Is it really that difficult to be honest?

Anywho...

Tomorrow is a new day

YES

Finally, today is Friday.

Which doesn't mean much more than - tomorrow I might get to sleep a bit longer in the morning!

I am fixing with some paper work to go to Sweden, all is going great.
Although, it seems like it will be a while before I will start receiving money - bureaucracy!

here's some fun stuff

Moving

It's time for class again.

Sophia woke up at 6.30 this morning, and is only now down for her first nap.
It's a bit tricky to time the nap, so that she's not tired during the class.
It was easy when the class was at 11, cus then I only had to think about one nap. But now they've changed it to 1, thus 2 naps to time.
Not easy.

So when Sophia was being difficult and missed the her nap time with 40 min, we discussed it (her and I) and decided to wait. Easier said than done, and she fell asleep 15 min before she should have.
And since her naps are 45 min tops that makes a big difference.

Good luck to us!

Weekend soon, only 4 left until we leave

Coldplay

How is it that Coldplay always makes a show more dramatic?!

I like Coldplay
and I like shows

I will start listening more to Coldplay again, just to get some drama feeling in my life - not the negative drama.

Let's see how it goes

The Middle

Hola,

Sophia is down for her second nap of the day.

Yesterday I was introduced to a new show "The Newsroom"...

only one word - AMAZING!

Best scene in TV history

Burgers today, on full weath, thin bread, with garlic mushrooms, avocado and tomatoes

It will be delicious

A month

We have about a month left in Mexico, and although I couldn't be more excited to get back to civilisation (friends, family, people with social skills), it is of course going to be difficult to leave (memo).

Gym class went well yesterday and Sophias crawling is still non existent, but on its way.

The little lady is still refusing to eat any vegetable so the other day I made some fruit purees containing veggies:

Apple-carrot-ginger
Mango-zucchini
Papaya - zucchini

She's eating them so I guess i have to come up with some other mixes for the weekend.

Below you can see a few old pictures I bumped over from memos phone, some new ones and my mosquito bite under the foot

Mexican vs Swedish tacos

It's Swedish taco day and I am excited.
Hungry = excited
at least today

Swedish tacos are better than Mexican.

Oh yeah, I dared to say it

This is my personal opinion

dry meat on a tiny corn tortilla, sprinkled with cilantro doesn't make my mouth water -I mean, where's the cheese?

This is what I call tacos (ingredients)

Although, I prefer mine with a corn tortilla, burrito style

Everything sin cebolla - of course

Anyways, I hope you Mexicans don't feel offended. It's only my personal view. It's not like I am some kind of food reviewer

The Zoo

We went to the zoo

I am exhausted

37c in the sun and I forgot to put sunblock - me vs sun: 0-1

Here are some photos

Better

I will get better at writing here.

It's a lot of work taking care of a princess - remember that

Let's see when the new royalty of the family decides to pop out.
Prince Vincent needs a sibling and princess sophia wants another cousin

Bisous

Upsetting

As I wrote earlier in the week I have been working on a business idea I have
Working - writing some sort of business plan

It was going great, I was very inspired and in just two days I had 5 pages - going on 6

And then the thunderstorm came.

Electricity went off, my computer too (since I don't have a battery)

I turned it back on, only for the stupid electricity to go off again

When I finally turned it back on, it said something was wrong and it was reset - to two days before July 17
NONE of my work was left

Stupid PC
and it's like Memo's Mac is telling me

Gym

Today it's Sophias gym day.
We're about to leave.

Bananflugor

Bananaflies

We have them because bananas were left on the counter.

This (see picture) is how I am trying to make them disappear - vinegar, oil and a bit of gel.

Three have fallen for the trap - but most of them just sit on the edge looking at the poor bastards using them as a warning.

I hate them.

Anywho, sophia woke up with a big scratch on her forehead in the morning - and I cut her nails yesterday.
Damn it.

The hunt continues

24h

The last 24h have been eventful to say the least.

Poop in bath - oh yeah, very unexpected.

A FULL hour of Yoga Meltdown

More fruit puree - Banana-mango from the other day is running out. So I made banana-apple-pear puree with a dash of cinnamon and ginger. The little lady is still refusing to eat anything that is a vegetable - my carrot-potato-dill puree was not liked.

I stole this - it's not us, but we do this.

----

10 hours later.

I started this post in the morning. But have been so busy that I never had time to finish it.
Sophia and I had gym class as always on Tuesdays, and during her naps I was working on this business idea we have, that we probably will be starting as we come back to Mexico next year.
There's a significant gap in the market, and we think that this could really hit it off. Let's see where it goes.

We just finished a 35min ab workout and now I will continue with my research.

In sickness and in health

I wrote this one last week - but it seems like it wasn't published.

So the reason for the absence hasn't only been because of our travelling the country - but more Sophias state of health.

She woke up with a 38 on Friday morning (which for her is very high). We decided to go to Vallarta anyways since we could just as well rest there, just with a nicer view.

She ate well the whole day and slept like never before when we finally arrived.
The next morning she woke up with a 36,6 - her normal temperature. So we hoped she was good.

We spent a few hours outside, nothing extravagant. But in the afternoon she got worse.
We got some medicine.
The next day she woke up with an ok temperature 37,5 - high for her, but she seemed fine.
We went outside again, but after a few hours she got worse.

Monday - she woke up with 38, so we were back to square one.
She has refused to eat any solid food the entire weekend.
She was now prescribed an antibiotic.
The car ride home sucked.

She slept 2 out of 4 (it was fast without traffic) the rest screaming.

She was better Tuesday morning but woke up with a horrible rash all over her body - which could either be the virus or the medicine.

Now 5 horrible days are over and we're gonna go to her class - 2 fever free days.

Wish us luck
