Better, and Better

I am sure all of you are wondering how I am feeling, if I've survived this flu, or whatever it is.

And of course, I am feeling better. Still not good, but a lot better!
For some reason I still have huge problems sleeping a whole night, and kept on waking up the entire night, and altough I did sleep at times, it was such a light sleep, I thought I was awake!

So I've been stuck here at Memo's place all day, luckily I still feel too bad to do anything but stay in bed. Hopefully I will be driven home in a few hours!
Plans for tonight; EAT.... last time I ate something, except for half a granola bar, was 2 and a half days ago... not ok. Will check with my beloved room mates what their plans are, maybe we can have family dinner or something!

If recovery will be as quick as it's been today, I hope that I will be back up on the roof for a tanning session tomorrow morning!
Got myself the new Cosmo, so that will keep me occupied for a while, and maybe Linnea or Daniel wants to join!?

Also, forgot, plan for the next coming hour... get my ass to the shower. Because of the fever I haven't been "to keen" to take one, but today I feel it's possible.

Puss now

Suit up!

Went suit shopping with Memo today, although no suit was bought.

Can't say I was the best help either, I was completely out of it, the pain I have in my back, lungs, is aweful!
Hopefully it is because my bed probably is the most uncomfortable you've ever tried!

I've been offered to stay at Memo's brothers room tonight. I just might take him up on that offer, comfortable bed + his mom is a doctor = pills!

Talked with my sister for a bit today on Skype, it was really nice! I miss her a lot! They went to take pictures of Baby Vincent today, he's so cute!!

Can't offer you any pictures in this post since I am not at my house!

TelCel - ass f*cks

I hate TelCel.

TelCel is my cellphone company.
You do not have much choice here in Mexico, there are only a few to choose from, much like Turkey to be honest.
Other similarities to Turkey; it's expensive as shit, and coverage SUCKS!

I hate TelCel.

When cell phone companies in Europe make their fees cheaper, TelCel does the opposite.

F*ck you Carlos Slim.

If you want to be an expensive cell phone company, then you make sure you have coverage everywhere, including the Tec campus, make sure your services always work.

Ass F*cks... but again, I paid my (more expensive) phone shit, and it now works.

I do not appreciate, having, as I said yesterday, 500 pesos, check my saldo, try to pay my, before 450 peso fee, only to realize, they are now charging 499 for it, and my saldo, after having checked it (ironically) is 498... I had to go to 7Eleven, at 11 this morning.
And considering that I didnt sleep shit last night because over fever and fever f*cking cramps, cough and shit I wasn't really up for it.

Went there anyways, almost puked on the way, don't know if that was the fever or something else...

anywho... that was maybe not the best post in a while... but I dont care, the world needs to know about these M f*ckers... Carlos Slim, My ass...

My head is full of...

well, it's pretty full of shit to be honest.

Me, Nastia, Yulia, Julie, Cassia and Carlos
I take it many of you are now nodding your heads, since you know I can blur out the craziest things at times, but hold your horses, because with shit I do not mean bull shit, but actual shit... well, maybe not actual shit, as much as that I currently have a sinusitis.
Quite uncomfortable I have to admit, not maybe the best feeling in the world.

Ears are being blocked by, god knows what, the nose is full of, well you know, and my head feels like it is exploding!

Good days my friends, good days!

Anywho, on top of that, the letter L has decided to be the difficult child of my keyboard.
I do not know why it has decided to make my life difficult, maybe it thinks it's fun to make me upset!?
Anyone knows how to teach it to behave as a letter should?

Today it's the 28th of October, Tino's birthday! (I miss Tino), it is also only one month left til my birthday, and two months left til Daniel's birthday.
Coincidence!?
Je le pense pas non!!!

Ahh, birthdays.
The downside with always living far away from the ones you love is that birthdays rarely are spent together.
Diego, me, Yulia, Cassia, Julie, Tino, Pasha,
half a Dia and Nastia
I don't like it, but at least I get to see the world, and well... assuming that one of these days I will settle down somewhere and be able to celebrate someone's birthday more than once before moving somewhere else, then it is worth it.

As some of you know, moving to Mexico was the 6th time I changed country in 3 years.
Quite difficult at times, yes, as I said, I get to see the world.
Hopefully, within less than a year, I can see the world on vacations only!

Bon ben, I hope everyone on the other side of the Atlantic had a good day, and I am wishing everyone on this side an awesome night!

Cheetos, Diet coke and Modern Family

That is what my night will consist of;

Cheetos - Because I do believe that they make the world a better place!

Diet Coke - Because it makes me a better person (True fact).

Modern Family - Because, even sick as I am, it will make me laugh!

With my beloved Blackberry
The only down side; I've been waiting all day for Daniel to add money to my cell phone; he forgot (not to anyone's surprise) and when I finally dragged his ass to 7/11 to do it, they their internet connection to TelCel didn't work, so I bought the cards... but of course they didn't work, so now I am sitting here, with two 200, and one 100 cards that doesn't work. Hopefully they will work in the morning.
Otherwise my blackberry services don't work )0:
Sad, or maybe what is sad is that I am in such big need for these. But being stuck in bed is not too entertaining, so the blackberry and the computer, with the bed itself of course, are my only friends.

Well, I did have one visitor today, who took me to Subway for my first and only real meal (at 9.30 pm)... sad!

Have a great night now!

Safety and Weather in Guadalajara - No worries

Puerto Vallarta, Sun rise
I have been reading about how the snow already arrived in Sweden. I also have the sidebar thingie with the weather both from Ankara and Västerås.

I have to admit I have no will what so ever to return to the old continent. Here the weather is perfect.
A steady 25 degrees and clear blue sky day time, a bit more chilly at night, but that's better. The rain stopped pouring down a few weeks a go, so there's really nothing to complain about.
Weather wise that is.

Other than that, for all of you who worry about the safety here in Guadalajara.
There's nothing to worry about.
Compared to Monterrey, where all the exchange students been asked to leave, we're very happy and safe here.
Nothing major has happened here, since the cops raided some drug lords house in July.
We can go around as we want more or less, with the exception of blond girl walking around by her self in the dark.
The closest I've been to danger would be taking the highway to Vallarta, people are mugged there quite frequently

When it comes to weather disasters such has hurricanes, floodings and earthquakes, there's also nothing to worry about.
We had a few nights of heavy rain in September, or maybe August, but as I wrote above, that's long gone.

Figured these are things people might worry or think about while thinking about Mexico.

I will now go back to my shitty nose and fever...

Series

I have a tendency of becoming addicted to tv-shows.

It started out early, when I was in 2nd grade with "The little house on the prairie". Helena and I used to love it.
My taste evolved and I started watching "Saved by the bell", "The Prince of Bel Air", and series alike, in middle school.
Friends, ER, Tre Kronor (Swedish show) are only a few that followed.

Right now I am hooked to "Grey's Anatomy", "Desperate Housewives" and my two new favourites; "Modern Family" and "Boardwalk Empire".
Amazing.

"Modern Family" is just hilarious. Daniel and I watch it every week, Patrick sometimes joins, less for the humour, more for Sofia Vergara's boobies.
Anywho, it's with Al Bundy dude, and anything he makes is funny, mostly because of his faces.

"Boardwalk Empire" is about Atlantic City in the 20's. A series from HBO. Worth seeing, really!

Haven't done much else tonight. Daniel got me my chips, I ate some, decided I prefer vegetables, had vegetables; garlic fried Haricot Verts (green beans) and mushrooms.
Tasty!

Hopefully my cough wont keep me up for too long tonight, nor wake me up too early, or at all!

Crossing my fingers the cold has let go tomorrow!!

Some more pictures from the past few weeks!

Bisous

Cold medicine, Playboy and a nephew

That was what my day consisted of.

As most of you guys know, fall means colds, i.e. the flu, sick, fever etc.

Mexico is no exception. I am sick, again. What is this, the third time now?

So sadly, today hasn't been too exciting.
Stayed in bed all day, talked with Anna-Karin and Vincent on skype, went to Soriana to get supplies, Memo passed by, watched series and read Playboy (sad I know, but I forgot to buy the new Comso, and Playboy was the only readable we had at home).

So, I figured I would tell you a bit about these past few weeks.

So Fercho came, sadly we never did anything more exciting than going downtown. But that's not too bad!
We also started the tradition of going up on the roof to look at the sunset, drinking sparkling wine.
We did this last week, Linnea and I on Friday, The whole group on Saturday, and Memo and I did it again this week!

Other than that, the two weeks with Ferchito went past pretty fast.
He left for North Carolina to meet up with Erasmo, and Linnea went to Cancun with Tobias.

Left was us the retards. Patrick was receiving people from Germany. So Memo and I went to Vallarta, Talloz also went.
As I wrote yesterday, it was a calm and relaxed weekend.
Coming back here to Gdl, we had a full house, and it has been until this morning when Robin went back to Germany.

Nothing much has happened since I got back from the weekend in Vallarta. Weeks are full of cleaning, studying and relaxing, weekends of birthday or goodbye parties.

So now I lay here in my bad, feeling a tad sorry for myself, waiting for Daniel to come back from his walk, so that I can ask him to go buy some chips for me!

My mind is a bit empty, so I apologize for this post, it's quite boring to be honest, but at least now I don't have to feel like I should explain what's been up.

Halloween is coming up. Daniel wants to go to this party on Wednesday, I honestly don't think I will be going anywhere if I feel like this!

I will put up some pictures to make up for the lack of fun in this post!

The continuation!

Babies, Babies and Babies...

Cutie
Why don't they ever come when they are expected.

My lovely baby sister had hers 2 weeks too early. Baby Vincent is amazing by the way, not only does A-K send me/us pictures weekly, but I also had the honour of seeing him on skype a few days ago. The little cutie almost didn't say a word!

Baby Helena, which is Helena's and Niclas' daughter, was born today, like a week late!

WTH, when will these little rugrats (meant in the cutest way possible) learn to arrive on time!?

Helena, Angelina and Baby Helena
The wait for baby Helena (I named her this) was long, my friends here in Gdl even started wondering when she was going to arrive.... maybe more because of my constant talk about it... but hey!!

Waiting for pictures now!!!

Now,

I have a tendency of telling people that apologizing for the same thing over and over again takes away the  meaning of "I'm sorry"... BUT I am sorry for having been lost for another 10 days!

Daniel, Linnea, Fercho and I.
Romantic Roof Night
I could use the event-less days of Guadalajara as an excuse, but that would be a bit of a lie, now wouldn't it. I do not have the most interesting or eventful days but I should be able to scrabble something down everyday, as I used to!

As I quickly mentioned in the previous post, Fercho came over for a visit from my beloved Panama.
I realized the true meaning of saying that time is (as everything) a scarce resource.
The week after he left I went to Vallarta for some relax time.
Movies and pool, good times.

Since then I have just been trying to get my work for school done and deal with some other things.

I will not bore you with more today, but I will definitely start writing again, I believe it's needed.

So, have a great time!

Back

Hello there,

Got a little bit lost from the blog the past two weeks.
Fercho, from Panama, came to visit. I also had quite a lot of things to do in school etc.

I will tell you all about my adventures the past two weeks, but first, I am going to Vallarta with Memo today.

I will write more on Sunday night!

Love you all
