Pictures March 2015

These are the pictures I took with our camera, I have taken many with my phone too. Those will come another day - for some reason I cannot attach photos that already exist to a post written on my phone.
Anywho, here goes;

We went to Vallarta for about a week and  a half. If things were up to me I would live there, I love having the pool a few steps away, hearing the waves and being able to walk around more.

We had a rainy first and second day.

My beautiful mother - Sophia´s comment seeing the picture - oh, it´s princess Elsa - haha.

Alexia and Jorge - it doesn't show, but she was very happy playing with them.

Coming back to GDL we headed to Zapopan Zoo. My sister had to stay at home because of the stomach bug.

The zoo has this retro playground. It's interesting.

We also went to Guadalajara Zoo. I didn't take too many pictures of the animals since we have been there so many times before.

Feeding the giraffs during the Safari
My mom had to stay at home, because of the same bug my sister had. My sister suffered through the visit - but the boys were happy.

Colomos park. We fed the fishes, played football and checked out the Japanese Garden. My sister stayed at home this time.

These pictures are from when we returned to Vallarta - after my family had left. We went for 4 relaxing days.

Semana Santa celebrations on the beach just next to Bay View.

Family visit 2015

We hadn't seen each other in over two years.
They had never met Leon and Sophia didn't remember seeing them.

We had a great three weeks. We went to Trompo Magico, the zoo, to the beach and just took it easy at home.

All was great minus the stomach bug that hit us coming back from the beach. My sister, my mom and Sophia all got (really) bad and were on bed rest. We still tried to venture out so that the ones not sick could have some fun - but it wasn't nice for the sicklings.
Everyone got better and now we only have good memories left.

I think I will post pictures tonight or tomorrow. So come back and check them out.

Update to sleeping project

She is NOT convinced.

Sleep in your own bed - project 1.0

As I wrote in a previous post we have been struggling with Sophia coming over to sleep in our bed for about 6 months.

My strategy is:
Draw a map - check
Let her choose stickers - check
Explain to her that if she sleeps a night in her bed she will get a sticker to put on her map - the goal is to get to the castle.

I will update you on the results.

BTW, the book you can see on the bed is called: The great fairy tale disaster, and it is great.
It's about the big bad wolf and how he goes through different tales as he is bored and tired of the three little pigs.

Sophia and my newphews love it.

Forgotten

Did you think I forgot about you?
I did not.
I just had the most royal of royal visits. My family.
Since it had been over two years since we met up I thought it best not to waste time around the internet.

Now I am back.
Cleaning up the house, washing all the clothes, getting back to reality.

Here is what I bought today. The bar stools we have been looking for, for months. I am as happy as one can be for buying bar stools.
