Christmas Plans

Memo is a spoiled man.
He will arrive in Sweden on the 18th of December.
On the 20th we head over the Baltic sea to Helsinki, coming back on the 22nd.

On the 23d we're going up north-ish... to Säfsen, to spend Christmas there.
It's supposed to be white, and quite nice.
Not bad huh...

I am still feeling pretty iffy, which explains the absence here in the blog. I will try to improve.

The weather this October is acting up worse than Sophia teething.

This morning when we woke up it was snowing - quite a lot as a matter a fact.
I went to give Sophia 'Välling' and when we came back out it was raining - and hasn't stopped since.
Fun times.

Luckily my sister came for a visit at night.

Sophia and I are both down with quite harsh colds.

Luckily we can sit and think back at the weekend we had - amazing!!!!

Snow and party

The entire day was spent with my sister.
We went to the mall where I got her a gift - a dress she chose - and we had lunch - IKEA!

I was then left at her house alone where during the next hour I baked two cakes and cleaned up the worst mess.

The cakes turned out great, people lived them and, although the day was amazing - seeing people I know and meeting new people, I am exhausted now.

The Surprise

Yes, you guess right. 

We are going on a 40h cruise to Helsinki, which happens to be the Design Capital 2012.

Since Memo is a designer, and always talks about Alvar Aalto it seemed just about perfect, AND he gets to go to Finland - my second country - being half Finnish and all.

Snow!

Snow is here!
I love snow, and I will make sure Sophia loves it too!

Imagine how exciting snow is, especially for children.

We've had a busy day, as will tomorrow be.
On Saturday I will start a weeks house watching in a friends house, Sophia and I will enjoy some alone time!

Frost

I looked out the window this morning and there was 'frost' everywhere! Yay... Winter is coming.
I love winter.
My favourite holiday Christmas is during winter, my second favourite day st lucia day is on the 13th of December.
And this year we have two more things to look forward to - memo is coming and the surprise trip. I accidentally told him about it, so it is no longer a surprise - bummer. Will tell you guys tomorrow.

Surprises

I am planning a surprise for Memo for Christmas.

We will be heading out on adventure for a few days. As far as I know he doesn't read this blog, but I think I will keep it to myself anyways, you never know if he would get some urge to open it one day... I wouldn't want it to be ruined - the surprise that is.

Tomorrow my sister turns 26, she's going old.h
