The daily

I had planned to go to Mercado De Abastos in the morning theto buy our weekly supply of fruit and greens. But after having had some quality talk with Memo in the car before dropping him off traffic was so bad I decided it could wait for tomorrow.

There was an article going around on Facebook last week, or the week before, on about how the Guadalajara traffic is the 9th worst IN THE WORLD. I am not sure that is not an exaggeration, don't get me wrong - it's not always fluent and peaceful. But I have been to a few places where it is worse and are not on the list - Panama City for one, traffic there sucks. Also Paris during rush hour is no joke.

Oh well, I have to make half a batch of cookies. The last step in selling my cookies to one of the better delicatessen in town. The manager likes them a lot, she liked the price, the owner liked the price but wants to taste them.
Fingers crossed.

I might go print some scetches to out up in The kitchen.

Planning

I need to get some kind of planner. I try to remember all the things I need to do, want to do and dream about doing.

This week seems to be calmer than last.

Need to do:
* fruit and vegetable shopping in Mercado de Abastos (tomorrow morning).
* buy decorations for the party
* buy gifts for Sophia's friends
* call back to delicatessen stores
* write up a weekly menu

Want to do:
* Organize pictures of the kids so we can start printing pictures - we (read I) have decided I want to make good old fashion photo albums for them.

* organize/invite Sophia's class for a zoo excursion - I am.sure it would be great for them to meet outside of the school.

Dream about:
* sit down with Memo and look at how we want our house to look - decoration and all... For when we have money

Down

So the princess did get sick - I realized it was bad when I had to catch her vomit in my hands.
We're doing one dosis of motrin, one of tempra (with 3h intervals) and she seems fine while the medecin is in effect.
I am not too worried. She is a vomiter - if that is even a word. The slightest increase in temperature above 38c and she vomits.
Always have.

Leon is passed out, Memo is snoring and Sophia is also out. Time for me to rest too.

Friday

We are having a great Friday with chips and the movie 'Brave'.

Tomorrow is valentine's day and we bought a ballon and a love water bottle (that Sophia chose) for Memo.

Sophia seems to be coming down with a cold - hopefully she will be better by Monday.

So, Leon and I left the cookies at a delicatessen earlier - supposedly the owner was supposed to be there between 10-12 (super inconvenient hours for me since I drop Sophia off at the school at 8 and pick her up at 1:30 only a few blocks away) - of course today he was not. Oh well, left them anyways.
Got a call back from one of the other stores the other day - hopefully it goes our way.

Technical things

This is my morning. Managed to finish the daily pick-up the inevitable mess and now I am trying to figurer out this breath pump.

Seems to be working.

So how did I do yesterday you might wonder?

With the list that is; well it went OK. We didnt do either pancakes or bake cookies - I did make granola and some nuts.

Today Leon and I will be heading out early to try to get a delicatessen store to start selling our products. Wish us luck. 

Plans

Plans for today:
* start doing laundry
* clean bathrooms and Sophia's room.
* bake cookies

- pick Sophia up

* make Swedish pancakes for snack
*make Swedish tacos for dinner
*sit down and enjoy my kids

Looks doable - BUT Leon is napping on my arm and I know that if I try to sneak away he will wake up straight away.

So I just might enjoy the moment and rest...
