Thinking

I've done a lot of thinking today.
Utö, Sweden, July 2010
I have a few things that need to be sorted out, figured out.
Happiness in the present, happiness in the future, understanding the present in order to move on to the best possible future.

Today I woke up early to take a morning walk with Linnea. We left a bit before 9, which I have to say was quite the challenge since I went to bed at like 4.30 - 5, if not later. Not only was it a challenge because I was sleep deprived, but also because it was very, very warm.
Usually it is quite chilly in the mornings, it usually heats up around noon.
So, since I did not want to risk anything, because of my cold, I put on some running tights (black), a cap (black) and a long sleeved t-shirt (black).
It was excruciating, good lord... next time I will check the outside temperature before heading out.

Except for being tired and warm, the walk was really good; nice tempo, perfect distance, good company.
I hope I wont get sick again so I can continue taking them.
Oh, I never told you.

If you remember, I was very excited about starting running about a month and a half ago.
After my first run I wrote this post: Running, September 28 2010  (click-able)
I was so happy, sadly, the next day I went out for another run... after about 20-30 min of running my foot started hurting like crazy, and continued doing so for the next week and a half.
This would be the reason I stopped running, the shoes I bought for my power walks are just not made for running.
Oh well, I might give it a try again... maybe go running once a week or something.

Just got back from a nice little Sushi dinner with the family.... Love it!
Vegetarian sushi is the shit my friends!

Now I am hoping to be able to sleep... if I don't feel the tiredness coming soon I am taking some magic pills to help it along the way!

Targeted

I hope no one felt targeted in particular by the previous post.

Just a few of the countries you guys are in right now
I sometimes have an urge to try to make myself a better person, writing down lessons I feel I should learn, or lessons I've learnt that I think others could learn from as well.
I rarely target one or several persons in these kinda posts.
I might have some people in mind, the people that has taught me the lessons, or people that I feel could benefit from them.
Nothing personal.
Nothing to be upset about. *taking precaution!*

I just found this new, magical function of my blog (it has always existed, but I take it easy with learning technology). This new little "widget" enables me to write a post, like now, at 2.30 am, because I can't sleep, but it will be posted in a few hours.
Not boring you with too frequent updates, helping me with time management!
 - I write this blog so that friends and family all over the world (sadly), can read about how I am doing and what I am up to.
I've noticed that more people read it if it is updated during day time in Europe. So now I can write a post, whenever, making sure it appears when more people have time to read it.

Another function I found on my blog when I re-started the writing last week.
Stat's! Yay, love it. Now I can see from where you guys are!
Last week you came from:
Mexico, Sweden, The States (quite a few people, who are you?), Marocco (who!?), Finland, Canada, France, Austria, Australia, the UK, Turkey, Panama, Germany, Costa Rica, China (who?!), Estonia (who?)... etc
Interesting!
As international as it can get!

Here's my favourite Christmas song. I don't know if I like it because it is catchy, or because I know how much it bothered my friends to hear it on repeat from beginning of November last year!
I might just make it my ring tone again, like I did 2 years ago; Mr Jack, and the rest of the guys might remember that!

Sit back, think about what you want for Christmas, and smile!
I can assure you guys I know what I want for Christmas!
Cancun!

Also, to your right you have this new thingie I found. The most popular posts; The ones most people have read.
For some reason my swine flu post is the most popular one. Which I think is because of the picture, the tea cup pig. Who knows, I wrote it in November last year, and people still read it, even find it on google which is kinda creepy! Anywho, enjoy!

Love you!

Ma vie, Ma merde...

The weekend past quickly.

Nothing major happened. Since I still feel a bit iffy from the flu I've just taken it easy; movie nights every night.
Yo y Mi Hemanita linda hace mucho tiempo!
When innocence still existed

Linnea and I went tanning on the roof today, it was good getting some sun after a week locked up in a room. It was also nice to be able to talk about things, random things, sometimes you just need to air out, make sure you're on the right track, and still are yourself.

I feel different lately, it's weird, I feel numb.
In one way I am not acting myself, in another I am doing exactly what I always do; something you can read about in this post: Always the same... May 21, 2010 (a link, click it vettja!)

History repeats itself, n'est-ce pas?
It is possible to relate some parts of that post to right now, not all of course, those who knows me well knows what I mean.

Note to parents; Nothing have been lost, and I did not run out of money! Yay!

People have a tendency of surrounding themselves with the same type of people as they've always surrounded themselves with, or make sure that the end of the "relationship" (in the most open, and friendly sense possible) will be the same, or the feeling of being in it at least.
Maybe this is because they know how to deal with them. To start whatever type of relationship with a different type of personality scares people, because they have to adapt, understand and be understood.
Honesty my friends, honesty is everything.
Without honesty to your friends, or to yourself, there is no way to be happy.
(I am the first to say, I do not always live as I preach)
And being open, tell people how you feel, but also being able to take it when people tell you how they feel.
To listen, without reaction, to be a support, being supportive, whether you agree or not.
Linnea and I spoke a bit today about that, and these are things that we've seen missing in a few relationships (friendships, colleagues, any relationship) here.
Maybe it's the culture, but in Swe when someone does something wrong, is hurting themselves (in any way), is lying, talking crap behind your back, you confront them, you talk to them.
Here silence is the answer, or a one way dialogue, where only one side is heard, and the other one is shut out.
All persons involved should be able to talk about their feelings on the matter, at the time when it's brought up, or when they feel ready to do it.
Just because some time has past doesn't mean they hold a grudge, they might just need some time to gather their thoughts, not to blur out whatever madness that came to their mind when the issue was discussed.

Anywho, looking for that post I went through some of the posts from Ankara.
I miss Ankara, good days I have to say.
I miss the city, the parents, the school, friends...

A person told me the other day, it sometimes comes off as if though I do not like Mexico.
For those who got that feeling; this is not the case,
I love Mexico
As any other country I've lived in, or any other country for that matter, it is not perfect, but that doesn't mean I don't like it.
There are always things we don't like about places or people, we just have to decide if we can overlook them, if not, then leave, or break the relationship (again, in the widest sense possible) up.
Be happy.
An advice I should take for that matter.

Off I am to bed now.

Better, and Better

I am sure all of you are wondering how I am feeling, if I've survived this flu, or whatever it is.

And of course, I am feeling better. Still not good, but a lot better!
For some reason I still have huge problems sleeping a whole night, and kept on waking up the entire night, and altough I did sleep at times, it was such a light sleep, I thought I was awake!

So I've been stuck here at Memo's place all day, luckily I still feel too bad to do anything but stay in bed. Hopefully I will be driven home in a few hours!
Plans for tonight; EAT.... last time I ate something, except for half a granola bar, was 2 and a half days ago... not ok. Will check with my beloved room mates what their plans are, maybe we can have family dinner or something!

If recovery will be as quick as it's been today, I hope that I will be back up on the roof for a tanning session tomorrow morning!
Got myself the new Cosmo, so that will keep me occupied for a while, and maybe Linnea or Daniel wants to join!?

Also, forgot, plan for the next coming hour... get my ass to the shower. Because of the fever I haven't been "to keen" to take one, but today I feel it's possible.

Puss now

Suit up!

Went suit shopping with Memo today, although no suit was bought.

Can't say I was the best help either, I was completely out of it, the pain I have in my back, lungs, is aweful!
Hopefully it is because my bed probably is the most uncomfortable you've ever tried!

I've been offered to stay at Memo's brothers room tonight. I just might take him up on that offer, comfortable bed + his mom is a doctor = pills!

Talked with my sister for a bit today on Skype, it was really nice! I miss her a lot! They went to take pictures of Baby Vincent today, he's so cute!!

Can't offer you any pictures in this post since I am not at my house!

TelCel - ass f*cks

I hate TelCel.

TelCel is my cellphone company.
You do not have much choice here in Mexico, there are only a few to choose from, much like Turkey to be honest.
Other similarities to Turkey; it's expensive as shit, and coverage SUCKS!

I hate TelCel.

When cell phone companies in Europe make their fees cheaper, TelCel does the opposite.

F*ck you Carlos Slim.

If you want to be an expensive cell phone company, then you make sure you have coverage everywhere, including the Tec campus, make sure your services always work.

Ass F*cks... but again, I paid my (more expensive) phone shit, and it now works.

I do not appreciate, having, as I said yesterday, 500 pesos, check my saldo, try to pay my, before 450 peso fee, only to realize, they are now charging 499 for it, and my saldo, after having checked it (ironically) is 498... I had to go to 7Eleven, at 11 this morning.
And considering that I didnt sleep shit last night because over fever and fever f*cking cramps, cough and shit I wasn't really up for it.

Went there anyways, almost puked on the way, don't know if that was the fever or something else...

anywho... that was maybe not the best post in a while... but I dont care, the world needs to know about these M f*ckers... Carlos Slim, My ass...

My head is full of...

well, it's pretty full of shit to be honest.

Me, Nastia, Yulia, Julie, Cassia and Carlos
I take it many of you are now nodding your heads, since you know I can blur out the craziest things at times, but hold your horses, because with shit I do not mean bull shit, but actual shit... well, maybe not actual shit, as much as that I currently have a sinusitis.
Quite uncomfortable I have to admit, not maybe the best feeling in the world.

Ears are being blocked by, god knows what, the nose is full of, well you know, and my head feels like it is exploding!

Good days my friends, good days!

Anywho, on top of that, the letter L has decided to be the difficult child of my keyboard.
I do not know why it has decided to make my life difficult, maybe it thinks it's fun to make me upset!?
Anyone knows how to teach it to behave as a letter should?

Today it's the 28th of October, Tino's birthday! (I miss Tino), it is also only one month left til my birthday, and two months left til Daniel's birthday.
Coincidence!?
Je le pense pas non!!!

Ahh, birthdays.
The downside with always living far away from the ones you love is that birthdays rarely are spent together.
Diego, me, Yulia, Cassia, Julie, Tino, Pasha,
half a Dia and Nastia
I don't like it, but at least I get to see the world, and well... assuming that one of these days I will settle down somewhere and be able to celebrate someone's birthday more than once before moving somewhere else, then it is worth it.

As some of you know, moving to Mexico was the 6th time I changed country in 3 years.
Quite difficult at times, yes, as I said, I get to see the world.
Hopefully, within less than a year, I can see the world on vacations only!

Bon ben, I hope everyone on the other side of the Atlantic had a good day, and I am wishing everyone on this side an awesome night!
