24h

The last 24h have been eventful to say the least.

Poop in bath - oh yeah, very unexpected.

A FULL hour of Yoga Meltdown

More fruit puree - Banana-mango from the other day is running out. So I made banana-apple-pear puree with a dash of cinnamon and ginger. The little lady is still refusing to eat anything that is a vegetable - my carrot-potato-dill puree was not liked.

I stole this - it's not us, but we do this.

----

10 hours later.

I started this post in the morning. But have been so busy that I never had time to finish it.
Sophia and I had gym class as always on Tuesdays, and during her naps I was working on this business idea we have, that we probably will be starting as we come back to Mexico next year.
There's a significant gap in the market, and we think that this could really hit it off. Let's see where it goes.

We just finished a 35min ab workout and now I will continue with my research.

In sickness and in health

I wrote this one last week - but it seems like it wasn't published.

So the reason for the absence hasn't only been because of our travelling the country - but more Sophias state of health.

She woke up with a 38 on Friday morning (which for her is very high). We decided to go to Vallarta anyways since we could just as well rest there, just with a nicer view.

She ate well the whole day and slept like never before when we finally arrived.
The next morning she woke up with a 36,6 - her normal temperature. So we hoped she was good.

We spent a few hours outside, nothing extravagant. But in the afternoon she got worse.
We got some medicine.
The next day she woke up with an ok temperature 37,5 - high for her, but she seemed fine.
We went outside again, but after a few hours she got worse.

Monday - she woke up with 38, so we were back to square one.
She has refused to eat any solid food the entire weekend.
She was now prescribed an antibiotic.
The car ride home sucked.

She slept 2 out of 4 (it was fast without traffic) the rest screaming.

She was better Tuesday morning but woke up with a horrible rash all over her body - which could either be the virus or the medicine.

Now 5 horrible days are over and we're gonna go to her class - 2 fever free days.

Wish us luck

Sweden

One could think we were living in Sweden. Weather-wise that is.

Even if Sweden is experiencing one of it's worst summers ever - they have had higher temperatures than us several times over the past few weeks.

I have started wearing my nice cosy slippers and the heaters are back out. Because, although temperatures outside are alike, inside Mexico is colder than sweden. Why you might ask yourself - because they don't have isolation.

I find it quite interesting. Mexican houses don't keep cool in the summer when it's too warm, nor do they keep warm when it's a bit cold.

J.M

Jillian Michaels...
that is the fitness guru of this house - who needs a gym when you have this bi-energy woman!?
Well, you might need weights - or as I like to call it 1 liter juice packs and a yoga mat.

here's the ab workout we do:

and here is her yoga meltdown

If you wanna get fit, tone your body a bit and don't have too much time, this is great. Each program is 30ish minutes, and I have heard the best is to mix them a bit (2 the same day). Although, I don't have the luxury to have an hour free everyday.

Memo likes it too, and he breaks a sweat (it's dripping of his forehead and back), so it's not that easy.
We got them from the pirate bay.

Other than that Sophia did great today at her class, as always.

She's great.

Class

We're back from today's class and it went good as always.

She got a bit distracted by the other kids but she finally started moving forward - a little bit as a worm.

Back home she had a nice lunch consisting of sweet potato and a spoon of green beans - she seemed to like it.
Now on to the adults food - Carne molida with rice

Baby puree

What Sophia has had so far:

Veggies
Sweet potato - big hit
Carrot - at first ok, now she refuses
Broccoli - she literary had that vomit reaction

Fruit
Apple - yay
Pear - yay
Apricot - yay
Prune - yay
Papaya - yay
Mango - yay
Avocado - yay

Today I am making more sweet potato and also green beans.

I have mixed all of it - but pear, avocado and apple - with formula. Why? Because the extra nutrition can never hurt, plus like that she gets what I don't give her anymore.

All but mango was boiled or at least softened in water before mixed.

Wedding

Not mine of course - that seems to never be happening.
But one of memo's friends, fernandas wedding.
It was nice, but Sophia wasn't at her best behaviour the entire time so we had to leave a bit early.

Yesterday was election day and we spent the whole day away from home with memos parents.

Pena nieto won, which will not be good for Mexico if you listen a lot of people. But it was better than the options.

Oh well, only time will tell.

Sophia had a first today - she did number two on the toilet. We bought one of those baby seats the other week and today I finally timed it right.
This is awesome since her number two has changed a lot in smell and shape since we started with solids.
Horrible.

Anywho, the day hasn't been too exciting so far.
