Flu Season - how to get through without medicine

I come from Sweden - in Sweden doctors keep us as far away from (prescription) medicines as possible - I like that.
Not like here where as soon as you have colorful buggers you are given antibiotics.

It's flue season here in Mexico and people are freaking out, lots of medicines flying around.
Don't get me wrong, I believe medicine is necessary - at times. I also believe that it can weaken your immune system.

I like to follow these lists, instead of relying on medicines, only taking them when [really] necessary.
