Saturday

Today it's saturday, today I didn't have to blow my nose as much!
My nose is very happy... soar, but happy I'm not bothering it as much.

Haven't done much since I wrote last. Went out for dinner with Benoit, it was really nice, he updated me on his "dangerous" trip to Syria... I told him about my adventures in Swe.

Yesterday my dad and I went to November for dinner, my dad hoped there would b live music. The guy told us it would start at 11.30pm, my dad said nonsense. The guys was right. We went home before the music started.

Today was a sunny day. I studied in the sun the entire day. I now have a tan (read sunburn).
I only have 4 out of 39 articles left to read for the innovation management exam on wednesday... I could b prepared... but i wont!
I also wrote one of the assignments for the individual project in CCM...

I had my phone hidden today (Sorry Benoit, saw you called)... I wanted to concentrate.

I also went grocery shopping, according to some it wasn't grocery shopping, but let's call it that. Again, I love going to the supermarket. It's fun.
Then we went for lunch at Paper Moon, I love that place!

When we came back home we built the table n chairs we bought for the balcony... now I have a table to study by outside!!

That's enough, I will now continue the very interesting conversation I'm having about health care systems! haha...

Paper consumption

The houshold paper consumption just went up with more than the double.
Need to blow my nose every five minutes.
Not very flattering for my nose, it turns red and the skin becomes irritated.

I have no plan for today.

I should start with the Innovation homework. Just need to gather some energy first.

Yesterday on the bus or maybe in the cafe in school, Firat told me about Kaş, seems like an amazing place.

Wikipedia it!!!!

Anywho. As you might know I'm gettin my phone sent from Swe.
This seems to be harder than I could even imagining.

People not answering calls, then the other doesn't seem to answer anything.

God... who knows when I'm getting it.
Thankfully it taught me a lesson. I will share it some other time out of respect.

Very annoying. And the anger is building up more and more. Not for that but for the way it is currently being handled by a person, and how that person deals with communication right now.

oh well... I will, as always inform the person about what I feel

Sjukintyg

So on my way to Bilkent today Firat was on the bus and he told me that being sick is a valid excuse to miss an exam at Bilkent.

AMAZING!!!

So off we went to the Bilkent health center where they did a quick check up (fever, ears, throat, lungs, you name it). They gave me a 2 day pass to miss classes! YAY! I do not have to feel bad about staying home because of being sick!!!

Anywho.

If you read what I wrote earlier today... I can assure you that the soup was good, the yoghurt either survived the 2 weeks in the fridge OR she actually went out the get some. Because, she also brought me pills (which were amazingly effective) and just before leaving she brought me some strawberries (the maid that is). I officially love her, no more hard feelings for stealing (yet giving back) my cardigans!

Another really interesting happening of the day was that my nail broke. Or it acutally broke sometime during or just before my leaving Swe saturday, but I tried to fix it by putting on layers and layers of nailpolish.

It didn't work...

So now one of my nails is extremly if not dangerously short... Firat thought that maybe I should all make them the same size... Fuck that I say... It's one against 9... I suck at math yet I know those are not good odds!!!

Otherwise I had a very nice and pleasant night. Some wine and good company.
Don't really know what to say about it, or how to "feel"... hmhm... I'm happy... I suppose. Just another of those waaayyy to complicated situations I tend to find.

Well, now I'm gonna continue where I left off before my visit arrived...

Mad Men...

Puss and Bonne Nuit!

At home...

Today I'm home again.
Too sick to go to class this morning.
I'm here in bed with a roll of paper, trying to breath through my mouth while drying the tears from my eyes (because of the fever).
I'm studying today.

Got some help with a problem yesterday, so now I understand one of the practice questions at least.

The maid is here. She came an hour late. Or maybe she didn't. I heard her come in at 10.45 but when I went up to get something from the small living room she called me (by my second name) and told me she'd made me soup and that there was pills for me.
Did she go get ingrediences and pills this morning?
I kinda hope so, cus she said the soup had yoghurt. And the yoghurt we had in the fridge was about 2 weeks old...

We'll see, either I will feel better in 2h or worse.

Have a nice day

I'm gonna study...

...I'm just gonna update you on some happenings first.
Nothing special has happened, just a few things flying around in my head.

First of all, to the joy of Cassia and Dan;
I did my nails last night!

For about 10 days, if not more, I walked around with 5 red nails and 5 "naked" nails, to Cassias horror and Dans delight.

Why Dan was enjoying this so much was because on Sunday my dad and I had to go to a "welcome lunch" for the Brazilian engineer (they were supposed to be two but one discovered he'd forgotten his passport at the airport in Sao Paolo).

It was my dad, Jeff (the turkish CEO) his brazilian wife, Dan, the brazilian and I.

My dad and I got there 10 min early, Nordic as we are.
Then Jeff and Cynita showed up, on time.
Dan came late, as always. Starting to believe his watches are not set to the right time.
And well the brazilian never showed up.
My dad had offered (on request of Jeff) to pick him up at the hotel. But he never answered.
We waited about an hour before starting to call. No answer.
After about 1 and a half he called saying he'd tried to get to the restaurant (Pike or smth) but had gotten lost, so he'd gone back to the hotel.
My dad, saviour of the day, left to pick hime up, while I begged him (in swedish not to leave me there by myself).
While he was gone, Dan must have noticed my nails and sat there with a smile on his face, looking down at my nails, that I tried to hide!
Thank god he didn't mention it there, but in an e-mail later that night. Ass! haha...
Another weird thing was the brazilian who didn't seem ashamed to stare at me the whole lunch, which of course both my dad and Dan noticed and teased me about.

Anywho, yesterday on my way back from Bilkent, all of a sudden I got crazy scared that maybe I got a brain tumor.
And no, this is no joke, I do realize how serious that is.
This of course is because of my hospital adventure back in Swe last week, and because of the fact that since then I've had a weird headace.
I usually don't any. Except for the migranes from time to time.
I managed to calm my self down by telling myself they would have noticed it on the X-rays.

I really wish I could b outside studying right now. But because of the fever I get too cold. Plus me ears hurt, and I don't feel it would be the best idea to sit out on a windy balcony on the 10th floor.
Also I'm having problems concentrating. I just wanna sleep. My eyes are burning, my back hurts because of the "fever pains" and my head is pretty messed up.

Wow, this became longer than I thought.

Hmhm... will maybe save the rest for later...

Toodles..

Today I'm at home sick.
Got a soar ass throat and the fever didn't get better.

E-mailed my macro teacher about the presentation, she said it was ok.

So now I started studying for the micro midterm. Crazy shit. The thing is that i recognize everything. But since they insist on not using number (each number seem to have 3 symbols) I get lost.

Started watching The bounty hunter last night. Felt too sick to concentrate thou, so fell asleep to family guy instead.

My beloved phone has now been located. I forgot it on Tino's kitchen table. I am hoping to get it sent to me on wednesday!

Back to studying now...

Have a nice day... if it wouldn't be for my fever I would be outside in the sun here...

Long time no see...

It's been quite a while, j'avoue, but I've been a bit busy.

Honestly, and without intentionally insulting anyone, this was the crappiest vacation I've had.
Not a single day of rest, of doing something for myself, or something that I wanted to do.
Now don't get me wrong, I loved seeing everyone I actually managed to meet up with, BUT, considering my schedule here in Turkey I would really have needed a couple of days just doing nothing.
Without the constant stress of knowing that I actually was supposed to meet up with X then Y, and at the same time do the paper work I had to do... and also maybe try to study for the midterms and project that are due in a week-ish.

Anyways.

My trip started out with meeting up with Cassia in the library.
It was awesome seeing her, and within a couple of minutes it was as if thou we'd never left.
The day went on and we talked, I went to Harry's to say "coucou" since Hemmakväll was closed and I couldn't get my hourly dose of coke...(the drink)

Next day was spent with Dia and later Tino. Fun as always. Vodka-coke in a MacDonalds cup should say it all.

BTW, why go to Centrum by yourself!? There aren't many reasons are there, especially not for guy on a friday... Vraiment pathetique... We danced salsa and ignored all the 16 year olds who were being stalked by the very pathetic older guys, only looking to get laid.

Saturday I went "home" aka Västerås.
I love my mamma. I ate mashed potatos and meat... Lapskojs. Amazingly divine!! Can still feel the taste in my mouth!!

Sunday was spent in Virsbo at my cousins' it was very nice. They still had more snow than I've ever seen... pretty cool.

Days in Västerås passed quickly, I was constantly doing something. Fixing the computer, seeing the sister, fixing her stuff...

So wednesday came fast. Back to JKPG.
Didn't do much. Hung out with Tino and Cassia.

The next day we all prepared for Caj; going to systemet.
But before that I had some paper work to do.
By this time I was extremly stress.
Which of course ended up with me getting a migrain.
Thou the migrain was so bad I had to go to the hospital in the middle of Caj cus of the pain. Stayed the night, got myself some morphine, an IV and they also wanted to see inside my head = I was shipped to radiology.

Came out normal... I know, can you believe it.
So they wanted to test my bonemarrow, I said no.

Came home and all of a sudden it was my last day. God, 10 days passes fast huh!

At this point I'd met up with Cassia, Nastia, Dia, Yulia, Tino and many more.

On to the last night. Calm pre-party talk at Tino's, then off to Lina's B-day.

And well that's my trip, the night passed by quickly and the next morning at 9 I left "the windy city!

I have some remarks;

Be greatful for what you have, stop always wanting more.
If someone makes some kinda effort to make your life better, say thank you. Don't demand miracles!

I realized my friends are amazing.
Seeing how other people get treated by theirs made me so very happy I have mine.
I mean, how can you not celebrate your friends b-day!?
How can you not say bye before leaving the same restaurant when it's the persons birthday. How can you under any pretext say that you don't wanna do something at night when it's that persons special day.
Na... those are selfish people.
At least my wonderful friends and I welcomed the person to our little party...
thou back to the first point: be greatful. After someone stands up for you, making sure there was some special features of you birthday, you don't act like that... ridiculous.

AHHHH, mon coeur est moins lourd!!!

Today I found out I have a midterm on wednesday; Micro... not good! Gotta study tomorrow after my Macro presentation. Was studying Innvation today in school when I fell asleep in the hall way on a chair... a 1h nap... in the middle of the school. Not bad.

There's more to the trip, but right now I've got a bit of a fever and am so tired I don't have the energy.

BTW, if you have a look just below this you will see some reaction boxes. The blog thought I should have one so now I do... feel free to check whatever... thou be nice!
